Danario Alexander sprained his knee in practice the week before the Carolina game. Since it was just a sprain, as oppose to a tear, it was estimated that his return would be between 2-4 weeks.
The Post-Dispatch reports that Alexander is back at practice. He is not participating in team drills, but he is conditioning on the side. He is at a point where he can jog, and he expects to be running again very soon.
Unfortunately Alexander will not be ready in time for the game against San Francisco on Sunday, but he there is a chance he will be ready the following week against Atlanta.
Alexander had a phenomenal debut against the San Diego Chargers. The highlight of the game was his 38-yard touchdown catch, and he had over 70 yards receiving that game. The following week against Tampa Bay he was very quiet, recording only one catch for less than 10 yards. With the Rams being plagued with injuries at the wide-receiver position, it is important that Alexander returns to the team for the second half of the season, and that he becomes a factor.
