My picks for week nine...

Since there is no Rams game this week, I thought I would try to pick the winners of this week's match-up's, as oppose to the usual pre-game package. so here it goes...

TAMPA BAY @ ATLANTA
Atlanta probably has more start power on their team in the form of Matt Ryan, Roddy White, and Michael Turner; but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing good football. Both teams are tied for first place in the NFC South with 5-2 records, but I am going to give the edge to Tampa simply because they have been playing better on the road than at home.
PICK: TAMPA BAY

DALLAS @ GREEN BAY
This is an easy pick. I think the Packers pull off an easy victory. The Cowboys have been playin terrible football; and although the Packers are barely winning their games, they are still getting the job done.
PICK: GREEN BAY

KANSAS CITY @ OAKLAND
This should be a good game, both of these teams have been playing very solid football, and they have both exceeded expectations so far this season. The Cheifs almost lost to the Buffalo Bills (the worst team in the league) in Kansas City, so I think I'm going to give the edge to Oakland.
PICK: OAKLAND

INDIANAPOLIS @ PHILADELPHIA
I think Peyton Manning gets the job done on the road. This is a pretty easy pick in my opinion.
PICK: INDIANAPOLIS

NEW YORK GIANTS @ SEATTLE
I think the Giants are the better team, and they will beat the Seattle Seahawks. Ahmad Bradshaw and Hakeen Nicks will be too much for Seattle's defense to handle. A win from New York will really help the Rams' cause.
PICK: NEW YORK GIANTS

NEW ORLEANS @ CAROLINA
The reigning Super Bowl champs will be on the road against on of the worst teams in the league. This game should easily be won by the Saints.
PICK: NEW ORLEANS

ARIZONA @ MINNESOTA
This is another game that Rams fans need to watch. Minnesota has been struggling, and Favre is pretty banged up, but Arizona isn't exaclty a power house. I think Minnesota pulls of a win despite the Favre/Moss drama that has been terrorizing them.
PICK: MINNESOTA

CHICAGO @ BUFFALO
Buffalo is one of the worst teams in the league, but their passing game has been coming to life. The Bills nearly pulled off a win over the solid Kansas City Cheifs, and I think they finish the job this time.
PICK: BUFFALO

SAN DIEGO @ HOUSTON
San Diego usually heats up as the season progresses, but this will be a tough game. Houston's Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson will be hooking up all day, and Foster will be running over the Chargers.
PICK: HOUSTON

NEW ENGLAND @ CLEVELAND
The Patriots have lost some of the pop to their offense since losing Moss, but Cleveland is a team that the can handle either way. This should be an easy one for the Pat's.
PICK: NEW ENGLAND

MIAMI @ BALTIMORE
Miami and Baltimore have both been putting together solid seasons. The Ravens will have the better defense, while the Dolphins have the better offense. I'll just take a shot in the dark and pick Miami.
PICK: MIAMI

NEW YORK JETS @ DETROIT
I think New York gets stunned in Detroit. Everyone loves the Jets' bandwagon, but the Lions just got their starting quarterback Matthew Stafford back from injury. Stafford has a monster game last week, and I think the Lions' offense is too much for the Jets.
PICK: DETROIT
